The Spring Formal is an opportunity to come together for a night of memory making FUN! We start with a lovely full course meal, followed by dancing and activities. This event is open to ANY homeschooler who is a Freshman of at least 15 years of age by May 1, 2025 and has NOT graduated from high school. Please feel free to forward this information to any eligible homeschooler that may be interested in joining us! While some students will come with a date who is also homeschooled, the vast majority view this event as simply a special night to remember with their friends. Our goal is to bless homeschooled high school students with a very special evening where they can feel loved and treasured by the Body of Christ.
Attire
Dress can be formal attire or semi-formal. But PLEASE make your clothing choice the ESSENCE of MODESTY. It is essential that you see the dress code guidelines for ladies and that you are willing to comply with these guidelines. Ladies, these guidelines will be enforced out of respect for the Christian community we share. Gentlemen may wear dress pants, a dress shirt and tie or a suit if desired. Please, no jeans or shorts. Also, note that we do not have changing rooms or personal storage space available.
Registration
We are now sold out. Please join the waiting list to be contact if any spots open up.
There will be no refunds after March 11, 2025 due to the extent of planning
involved. All forms and fees are mandatory to participate in any portion of the evening. Please notify
a committee member if you do not plan to participate in the entire event.
Check-in
Check-in will begin at 5:00PM and run through 5:45PM. Please plan accordingly as we will not be allowing students into the building until that time. Dinner will then begin at 6:00PM followed by dancing and various activities. Students will not be permitted to leave until the event is over at midnight unless prior arrangments have been made with the committee.
Parent Pictures
Parents are invited inside the building at 11:40PM to grab pictures of the decor and their students. Please do not enter the building before that time (unless you have been asked to help with an activity). This allows us to start the evening on time, stay on schedule, and minimize distractions. We understand the excitment of seeing the decor and hope you will respect our decision to invite parents in at the end of the evening. The students are welcome to take pictures all through the evening and we will have an amazing photographer on hand who will take pictures throughout the entire evening and post them in an online gallery for you to review shortly after the event.
